TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  Terms and Conditions for Kyoma Jungle Adventure  

1. Introduction Welcome to Kyoma Jungle Adventure. By booking a tour with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.  

2. Booking and Payment - Reservations: To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation. The balance is due 30 days prior to the tour start date.- Payment Methods: We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and other specified payment methods.- Late Payments: Failure to pay the balance on time may result in the cancellation of your booking.  

3. Cancellations and Refunds - Cancellations by the Client: If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees apply as follows:  - More than 30 days before departure: Deposit is forfeited.  - 15-30 days before departure: 50% of the total tour cost.  - Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of the total tour cost.- Cancellations by Kyoma Jungle Adventure: We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to insufficient bookings or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another tour.  

4. Changes to Bookings - Client-Initiated Changes: Any changes to your booking must be requested in writing. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but cannot guarantee they will be possible. Additional costs may apply.- Kyoma Jungle Adventure-Initiated Changes: We reserve the right to make changes to the tour itinerary due to weather, safety concerns, or other factors. Any significant changes will be communicated promptly.  

5. Health and Safety - Health Requirements: It is your responsibility to ensure you are in good health and fit for the tour. Please consult your doctor about any necessary vaccinations or medical precautions.- Safety Instructions: All participants must follow safety instructions provided by our guides. Kyoma Jungle Adventure is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur due to non-compliance with safety guidelines.  

6. Travel Insurance - Mandatory Insurance: All participants are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, personal accident, and personal liability.- Proof of Insurance: You may be required to provide proof of insurance before the tour commences.  

7. Liability - Personal Responsibility: Kyoma Jungle Adventure is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property during the tour. Participation is at your own risk.- Third-Party Services: We are not liable for any issues arising from services provided by third-party suppliers, such as transportation or accommodation.  

8. Use of Images - Photographs and Videos: By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of your image in photographs and videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing.  

9. Conduct - Behavior: All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and responsibly. Kyoma Jungle Adventure reserves the right to remove any participant who behaves in a manner deemed unsafe or inappropriate.  

10. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Tanzania.

  Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy for Kyoma Jungle Adventure 

1. Introduction Kyoma Jungle Adventure is committed to the highest standards of anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and requires management and employees to adhere to these standards to prevent the use of our services for money laundering or terrorist financing purposes. 

2. Policy Statement Our AML policy is designed to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, and to ensure that our operations are conducted with integrity. 

3. Customer Due Diligence (CDD) - Identification and Verification: All customers must provide valid identification and necessary documentation before engaging in business with Kyoma Jungle Adventure. This includes, but is not limited to, passports, national IDs, and proof of address.- Risk Assessment: Customers will be assessed for risk based on factors such as the nature of their business, geographic location, and transaction patterns. High-risk customers will be subject to enhanced due diligence.- Ongoing Monitoring: Transactions will be monitored on an ongoing basis for unusual or suspicious activity. Regular reviews of customer information and transaction history will be conducted. 

4. Record Keeping Kyoma Jungle Adventure will maintain records of all transactions, customer identification, and due diligence processes for a minimum of five years. These records will be kept secure and confidential, accessible only to authorized personnel. 

5. Reporting Suspicious Activity - Internal Reporting: Employees are required to report any suspicious activity to the designated AML Compliance Officer immediately. This includes any transaction or behavior that deviates from the customer's normal activity.- External Reporting: The AML Compliance Officer will evaluate the suspicious activity report and, if necessary, file a report with the relevant financial intelligence unit or regulatory authority in accordance with local laws and regulations. 

6. Training and Awareness All employees will receive regular training on AML laws, regulations, and internal policies. Training will include recognizing and reporting suspicious activities, understanding customer due diligence procedures, and staying updated on AML regulations.

  7. Compliance Officer Kyoma Jungle Adventure will appoint a designated AML Compliance Officer responsible for implementing and overseeing the AML program. The Compliance Officer will ensure that all policies and procedures are followed, and that the company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. 

8. Review and Update of Policy This AML policy will be reviewed and updated annually, or more frequently if required, to ensure it remains effective and compliant with applicable laws and regulations. Changes will be communicated to all employees and integrated into ongoing training programs. 

9. Penalties for Non-Compliance Failure to comply with this AML policy may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment. Non-compliance may also lead to legal penalties for both the individual and Kyoma Jungle Adventure.
